Its best to change the default download location when you set up a new Windows 10 computer. Browse to the desired location and choose Select Folder. Any INS files that you import (as described later) become part of a master.ins file, which is also in the same folder. Windows 10's 21H2 feature update is now available for all users and it looks to heavily focus on security. My X1 browser does not respect the change of location for track templates. Unless you specify a custom path, SONAR installers have always laid down the 32-bit application in C:\Program Files (x86), completely separate from the 64-bit installation in C:\Program Files.

Windows 10 21H2 now in broad deployment, available to everyone As a noob BiaB user but an experienced SONAR user, I just wanted to note for the benefit of posterity that this does not have to be so difficult.
